REVIEW: When Rie sent me this book a couple of weeks ago, I knew that I had to read it, as I have read a couple of her books and really enjoyed them. However I had a pile of other books that I had to read before I could get to this one. Man am I wishing that I hadn't waited.

My Soul to Keep – Calen is a beautiful story with an evil twist to it that I did not expect. We have a race of people who were always willing to help mortals, witches who are without even a hint of malice in them. Then we have one man who was so full of evil and bent on slaughtering all of the witches. It required a group effort to rid the witches of him, and that was only temporary because of a son being born to one of the witches that awakens him. This is a fantastically written book...

Blood Line by Rie McGaha is easily the best shape-shifter novel I’ve had the pleasure of reading in a long time! I felt Jessie’s frustration with Josh and the mystery of him taking off on a mysterious quest and his seemingly insatiable sexual appetite. I can completely understand her desire to be a wolf with him so that they can live forever with each other. When she tricks him into turning her, I laughed at the ingenuity she showed in doing so! Not only did I just love their characters, but I also completely fell in love with Ganda. She is the sweetest little old lady you could ever meet! She is always thinking of everyone other than herself and cooking up the yummiest sounding entrées to feed the wolves’ ravenous appetites. It just broke my heart that her husband died thousands of years before the novel takes place. Even with that said, you still feel as though you know him, and your heart breaks with hers. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that Blood Line is one of many in a series! Please don’t disappoint me Ms. McGaha!

Grounded was one of the cutest stories I’ve ever read! I absolutely loved it! I really connected with Patty with all of her nervousness, stammering and clumsiness. What normal girl wouldn’t want to have a God in love with her? Ms. McGaha has penned a very well written, funny and entertaining short story that will have you swooning and completely head over heels for the characters. I enjoyed this story so much that once I started reading, I didn’t stop until it was finished. Overall, this story had a very well written plot and flowed smoothly from start to finish. I will definitely be watching for more books by Rie McGaha!

Deadly Dreams
I thought the chemistry that Chase and Lea shared was great. Chase was sexy, tall and the kind of guy any woman would want to have by her side. Lea may have seemed like she was weak but when the occasion called for Lea to be tough, she could hold her own. I really liked the fact that the author brought the reader into the mind of the killer. It made the killer more real and scary. Also the plot was really good and believable. I enjoyed reading Deadly Dreams by Rie McGaha and you will too if you don't have nightmares after reading it. Sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite.
